American Riviera Bank is excited to extend the creativity of Santa Barbara’s Solstice festivities by collaborating with PAGO™ Design, bringing contemporary art directly to the community through a traveling exhibition. Starting in July, "PAGO Taking Wing," a distinctive float sculpture, will be displayed at various branches.
“PAGO Taking Wing” is created by California-based PAGO™ Design and born from their principal creation, “The World of Imago.” Pago is the main character from this fantasy world and made entirely of paperboards, a nod to the artists' commitment to sustainable and innovative artistic practices.
"We are thrilled to support the local arts community while bringing unique cultural experiences directly to our customers," said Alyssa Shapiro, Assistant Vice President & Community Relations Specialist at American Riviera Bank. "This sponsorship our ongoing commitment to supporting vibrant community artists."
This sculpture was one of four PAGO floats in Santa Barbara’s Summer Solstice Parade. Following the parade, American Riviera Bank successfully bid on the PAGO Design float sculpture during the Summer Solstice Festival's Silent Auction, with all proceeds benefiting the Santa Barbara Summer Solstice organization's ongoing community art initiatives.
PAGO™ Design continues to expand their artistic vision through "The World of Imago," creating immersive experiences through their signature paperboard construction techniques.
